Vinification
Harvested during the cool hours of the early morning, the grapes were destemmed and pressed, followed by settling at low temperatures for 24 hours. Fermented at controlled temperatures in tanks for 15 days and matured on fine lees, with regular stirring. Fined, filtered and bottled to maintain its clean, crisp flavours.

Reviews
A fruity white, filled with bright peach and apricot flavors, with a strong current of Gala apple supported by fresh acidity. Hints of cinnamon linger on the focused finish. - Wine Spectator
Not surprisingly, given the grape blend, this exudes a lot of personality this year. Quite grassy and vibrant, it is well built in the mid-palate for its price range and likely to be rather invigorating as a summer sipper. If you like those fragrant, herbaceous wines, this will hit the spot and seem like quite a nice bargain. - Robert Parker
Flavors of pear and white peach drive this clean, fruity wine. It has a tang of citrus and acidity that adds a lively edge. Ready to drink now. - Wine Enthusiast

In 1988, a Danish-American couple set out in a sailboat to find a place to start a family, plant a vineyard, and make wine... and thus begins our story of Cortes de Cima Family Vineyards, one of Portugal`s leading wineries. Capturing the abundant Alentejan sunshine in the vineyard, our wines are packed full of rich, concentrated fruit, and balanced by soft, ripe, tannins.
