Experience Vintage 2009 vicariously!

Posted by Carrie on Friday September 18th, 2009 at 12:44

First, to answer your question- the answer is:  ’Yes! Harvest is still going on’ –  and therefore we have been far too busy for blog updates, with the exception of a few short microblogging  Tweets.  A full harvest update will have to wait until the next post, but for now, for those who didn’t get the chance to visit us this year and see the harvest firsthand, with the help of YouTube and Flickr we can bring the 2009 harvest to you!

It hasn’t been easy to get all the footage  filmed during the past weeks edited down to under 4 minutes, which I realize is still too long by YouTube standards, so to make the viewing time go quicker, we’ve added an appropriate Clara Ponty track called “Autumn Bells” from her album “Mirror of Truth”.  (Clara Ponty is the lovely composer/pianist who performed at Cortes de Cima during our 2004 Summer Vineyard Concert, with whom we traded a wine called ‘Clara‘  for a song.)  Open up a bottle of Chaminé from last year’s 2008 harvest, and the viewing time will even pass quicker!

So here it is,  your vicarious vintage experience direct from Cortes de Cima!  -
