(100%) ARAGONEZ (Tempranillo) from the great 2005 Vintage. Ripe plum and prune fruit aromas with cinnamon and vanilla oak spiciness. A layered palate, combining sweet gamey fruit with firm and dry tannin structure. Aged for 7 months in American oak barrels. Bottled in June 2006, unfined and lightly filtered. Drinks well now and will improve in bottle over the next 5 years.
