Foi com imenso agrado que nos chegou ao nosso conhecimento a inclusão da Adega Cortes de Cima na restrita lista do Troféu Produtor de Vinhos Português organizado pelo International Wine and Spirit Competition. Os nossos adversários são os Vinhos Barbeito, Henriques & Henriques e Symington Family Estates, os resultados serão anunciados durante um banquete a 17 de Novembro no Guildhall de Londres. A nossa nomeação prende-se sem dúvida com o facto de termos alcançado este ano o nosso melhor resultado de sempre, 3 Medalhas de Ouro todas “Best in Class” e 3 Medalhas de Prata, 1 das quais também “Best in Class”.

That’s great news. As a “trainee” judge at the IWSC I was impressed with integrity of the whole judging process. I never did taste any Portuguese though – my 2 days were Argentina and Italy.

Colin, that´s good to have a confirmation from an ‘insider’. There is always plenty of speculation about the integrity of certain wine competitions, and that’s one reason we try to be very selective in the competitions we enter, and avoid the doubtful ones! I hope you are lucky and get to judge Portuguese wines next time!
