DAQUI: Literally "from here", it's a uniquely Portuguese expression for something really, really good, in a gesture of pinching the earlobe within the fingers.

DAQUI it's Anna Jørgensen tribute to summer, from our Trincadeira and Aragonez vineyards, and thanks to a collaboration with author and journalist Jamie Goode.

Winemaking

A summery clay amphora wine, showing Alentejo´s freshest and most straightforward side.

For this wine, the initial foot treading of whole grape bunches was followed by press extraction the day after. Skinless spontaneous fermentation of the must in our clay amphora dating 1843. Production of 430 numbered bottles. Bottled in July 2020.

The Wine

In the nose: red berries, lemongrass, and Szechuan pepper. In the mouth, balanced and persistent tannins to add complexity. A long and velvety ending. This wine is a perfect tribute to summer: fresh, complex, and aromatic.
