Winter rainfall was plentiful, followed by an excellent summer growing season, mild for Alentejan standards. An early harvest with a rapid end, due to the early arrival of September rains.
This blend of Aragonez, Syrah and Pinot Noir results from the fusion of two distinct terroirs. Pinot Noir, grown on the sandy soils of the cool maritime Atlantic Coast provides freshness and elegance to balance the fruit generosity of the Aragonez and Syrah grown further inland, on the clay over limestone soils surrounding the Estate. Grown sustainably in our own vineyards.
Juicy red berry fruit aromatics, with spice and vanilla. Fresh, tight palate with good fruit intensity and length on the finish.
