We grow our grapes in our own vineyards in two distinct Alentejan terroirs: surrounding our home and winery at Cortes de Cima, near Vidigueira;  and at the Atlantic coast near Vila Nova de Milfontes.

Cortes de Cima Vineyards locations

Cortes de cima

Vidigueira is the Alentejo’s southernmost appellation,  a wine-growing region since Roman times.  Cortes de Cima's climate enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine every year, and warm dry summers that are tempered by the occasional cool Atlantic breeze.

Zambujeira Velha

Our search for a cooler climate for growing white grapes brought us to Vila Nova de Milfontes on the Alentejo Atlantic coast, where we have planted a 40 hectare vineyard with mostly white wine varieties, 3 km from the Atlantic ocean.
