Cortes de Cima Rosé

Crafted from pressing and fermenting early picked Aragonez (Tempranillo) and Merlot together, it is all about delicacy and lightness.

Vintage 2018

Cold, dry winter followed by a cool, humid spring finally interrupted by a short-lived heat wave in August, which kick-started the late summer. Harvest was consequently later than usual, and short in order to preserve the natural freshness that highlights the year.


All grapes grown sustainably in our own vineyards. Aragonez (Tempranillo) and Merlot grapes were picked early and gently pressed retaining only the free run juice. Cool fermentation in stainless steel followed by maturation on lees. Early bottling to preserve freshness.

Our Winemaker Comments

Pale salmon color. Complex aromas of peach, rose petals, pannacota cream and shortcrust pastry, hints of tangerine too. The palate expands with intense fruity and savoury notes. Focused acidity provides freshness to balance the layered creamy texture. Finishes long and saline.
