Our Incógnito is expected to be an excellent wine of impeccable quality, like its predecessors. Its aging potential, unquestionable. This is why we keep tasting the wine year after year, with high expectations, and memories of the past. Despite the excellence of this unique terroir, it’s not every year that we have a vintage worth of Incógnito. Our decision is both challenging and captivating. The criteria followed by our winemaking team are tight.
A dry winter, followed by a cold and wet spring. A moderate summer, which heated up in August. A delayed growing season, with late flowering, ripening and a large harvest.
With grapes from our best parcels, fermentation under controlled temperatures with frequent pumping over. It aged in 225L French oak barrels. This wine shows the terroir and the particular conditions of the 2013 vintage in Alentejo.
A passionate wine, now showing its full potential. Vibrant, with high freshness and acidity, exuberant in the mouth, and great potential for keeping.
